Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Bed Company Ireland LTD, we specialize in large furniture and made-to-order products. We are committed to providing a fair and transparent return process in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period) You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 dayswithout giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you (or a designated third party) receive the furniture. To exercise this right, you must notify us with a clear statement of your decision.

Please include your order number and relevant details in your request. All returns must be authorized by our team before the furniture is sent back.

Conditions for Returns Due to the nature of large furniture products, the following conditions apply:

  • Items must be unused, unassembled (where applicable), and in their original condition.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.

  • Furniture must not show signs of use, damage, or installation.

  • You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.

Bespoke / Made-to-Order Furniture Our products are custom-made and built to order. While bespoke items are typically excluded from statutory withdrawal rights, we voluntarily accept returns on these items provided the furniture is unused and in its original, resalable condition.

Return Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees

  • Change of Mind: If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Because these are large freight items, return collection costs will be quoted and communicated to you before arrangement.

  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: If the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, The Bed Company Ireland LTD will cover all return shipping and collection costs.

  • Restocking Fee: We do not charge a restocking fee for returned items.

Return Method & Return Address Due to the size and weight of furniture, returns must be arranged through our support team. We offer collection via our private delivery team for large items.

Alternatively, if you choose to arrange your own return shipping courier, all items must be shipped directly to our operating warehouse at the following address:

(Please Note: Do not send any returns to our London Registered Office address, as they cannot be accepted or processed at that location.)

Refund Process & Timeframe Once the returned furniture is received and inspected at our Portadown facility, we will notify you of the refund status.

  • Approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.

  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days of receiving your returned item.

  • We may withhold the refund until the furniture has been successfully returned and inspected.

Damaged or Incorrect Furniture If your furniture arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Provide clear photos and details of the issue. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or a full refund at no additional cost to you.

Order Cancellation Orders may be canceled before production begins. Once production has started, cancellation may not be possible due to the made-to-order nature of our furniture.
